Isuzu will launch the 2018 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross in India next month. Images sent by Team-BHP reader Ajay Kumar Kommaraju has revealed the changes arriving with the MY2018 update.

Isuzu tends to sell old models in India. Last year, the company launched the pre-facelift Isuzu MU-X when the facelifted Isuzu MU-X was already out internationally. From the design of the front grille and headlamps, it looks like the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross likely won’t get a facelift with the MY2018 in our market, unlike in Thailand.

Visually, the 2018 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross features LED daytime running lights in place of fog lamps, chrome rear bumper garnish and LED tail lamps. Inside, there are black leather seats in place of beige fabric seats. 6-way power adjustment for the driver’s seat, cruise control and a rearview camera are also new to the MY2018 model.

The current Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 134 hp at 3,600 rpm and 320 Nm of torque from 1,800-2,800 rpm. A 5-speed manual transmission and a shift-on-the-fly 4WD system are standard. Changes to any of these aspects, if planned, are currently unknown.

Isuzu will offer the 2018 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross in India in a standard grade and a ‘High’ grade. In Andhra Pradesh, the D-Max V-Cross and the D-Max V-Cross High will cost INR 14,27,344 (ex-showroom) and INR 15,77,344 (ex-showroom) respectively. Dealerships have started accepting bookings for the new model.
