Since its unveiling prior to the 2018 North American
International Auto Show, we've learned that the all-new Ford Ranger will be
available in 8 different colors, spread across nine configurations in total. So
whether you go for the SuperCab or the SuperCrew version, you'll be able to get
it in either XL, XL Chrome, STX, XLT, XLT Chrome, XLT Sport, Lariat, Lariat
Chrome or Lariat Sport.
Available colors include Saber Orange, like the
press release car, Lightning Blue, Hot Pepper Red, Absolute Black, Magnetic
Gray, Ingot Silver, White Platinum and Oxford White.
Buyers who require increased off-road capability
from their new Ranger can opt for the FX4 package, which features bash and skid
plates for undercarriage protection, all-terrain tires and a status screen on
which you can monitor pitch and roll, as well as the steering angle.
Other options include the 8" SYNC3 infotainment
system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, AC power outlets, a premium audio
system and 4G LTE WiFi hotspot for up to 10 devices.
As for active safety, the 2019 Ranger comes with
Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist and Lane Departure Warning,
while Adaptive Cruise Control, Reverse Sensing, Blind Spot Information and
Pedestrian Detection are also available.
