Ducati has launched the Euro IV version of the
Ducati Diavel Carbon in the country at an ex-showroom, India price of INR
19,73,000.
The Ducati Diavel Carbon uses forged Marchesini
wheels that are exclusive to this variant. The paint scheme also features
exclusive livery, and the exhaust system gets Zircotec-coated pipes and brushed
steel silencer covers.
The Ducati Diavel
Carbon employs 1,198.4 cc L-twin engine. It punches out 152.2 PS of power at 9,000
rpm, and 123 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. The engine mates with a 6-speed
transmission with slipper clutch. Electronic package includes multiple riding
modes, power modes, Ducati Traction Control, ABS and Hands-Free.
Suspension bits include fully adjustable 50 mm
upside down front fork with DLC treatment. The rear gets a fully-adjustable
monoshock with progressive linkage. The power cruiser comes to a halt using
dual 320 mm Brembo discs at the front and single 265 mm disc at the back.
The motorcycle tips the scales at 234 kg, kerb. This
makes the Diavel Carbon lighter than the standard Diavel by 5 kg. Coming to the
pricing, the Carbon variant is INR 3,63,000 more expensive than the Diavel Dark
Stealth variant. Interestingly, the new XDiavel S Thrilling Black variant is
INR 57,000 cheaper than this motorcycle.
