Emflux Motors is a Bengaluru-based start-up
specialising in electric motorcycles and providing solutions for electric
vehicles. They will be launching the country’s first high-performance
motorcycle, the Emflux ONE at the 2018 Auto Expo in February.
Apart from showcasing the bike at
its experience centres, Emflux will also invite select customers to take a test
ride of the bike on a race track. However, the bike launching at the Expo will
be an advanced prototype, with 80% production-ready finish.
The payment for the electric motorcycle can be made
online. As per the media site, Emflux Motors plans to export the bike to
foreign markets as well. The company is discussing with the distributors of
European countries; Canada, Mexico and Australia as well.
The Emflux ONE has a claimed top speed of 200 km/h, and takes three seconds to reach 100 km/h from a standstill. Peak power stands at 71 bhp, and torque at 75 Nm. The bike has a 200 km range when ridden in the city, and highway range reportedly depends on the style of riding and the conditions of the road.

Power comes from Samsung lithium ion battery with 9.7 kWh cells. The liquid cooled AC induction motor is capable of producing 50 kW peak power. Top-spec cycle parts like Brembo brakes and Ohlins suspension are standard. The bike gets a 7 inch TFT intelligent instrumentation, with GPS, smartphone and bike-to-bike connectivity.
