The Mahindra U321’s official unveiling is just weeks away now. The Mahindra U321 features a dual-tone dashboard chrome trim for the air vents, AC controls and gearshift lever, large touchscreen infotainment system; chrome door handles, front centre armrest, fabric upholstery and automatic climate control.

The Mahindra U321 is designed to look like a proper MPV. Its exterior features should include projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, toothed front grille, 16-inch alloy wheels and a rear spoiler with integrated high-mount stop lamp.

The Mahindra U321 has a monocoque construction, which is a first for a Mahindra MPV. It will debut a new 1.6-litre diesel engine that develops 125 hp and 305 Nm. A petrol engine option is a given, in either 1.5- or 2.0-litre displacement. The spy video shows a manual transmission in the MPV.

Mahindra will likely position the Mahindra U321 between the Maruti Ertiga and the Toyota Innova. The company could introduce the new model at Auto Expo 2018.
