Taking a slightly different road is the 2018 Ducati
Scrambler Hashtag, which follows the Tesla scheme of online purchasing with a
base price of 6,990 euro, ex-Italy. This special Scrambler Sixty2,
only available online, comes with a dedicated colour scheme of Midnight Black
and a different seat.
Also included in the specifications list is mudguard
and handlebar in the same Midnight Black with orange Scrambler logo. The seat
unit is taken from the Scrambler Desert Sled and is claimed to be very
comfortable.
Currently available in Italy, France, Germany, Spain
and Portugal, the buying process for the Scrambler Hashtag begins with the
purchase of a 500 euro voucher from the dedicated website. The buyer
then heads to the Ducati dealer named in the voucher, and finalises the balance
payment and delivery date.
Additionally, successful purchasers of the Scrambler
Hashtag are given a 20% bonus on original Sixty2 accessories as well as the
Ducati Scrambler clothing and lifestyle range. Deliveries for the 2018 Ducati
Scrambler Hashtag are expected to begin in mid-March.
