The facelifted Fiat 500X, set to arrive as a 2019
model, has been snapped during testing in the Arctic Circle. As is common with facelifted vehicles, particularly
from the FCA stable, the styling changes to the refreshed 500X will only be
minor.
With that in mind, key exterior modifications will include a new front
grille, redesigned daytime running lights, and a different bumper. Similarly,
the rear will adopt a new bumper as well as a more complex yet still familiar
taillight design.
Fiat will also roll out some interior tweaks with
the car. First and foremost, there will be a new infotainment screen, not
visible in these spyshots due to all the testing equipment in the cabin.
Elsewhere, the quirky 500X will have a new steering wheel and modified gauge
cluster.
If you’re a big fan of the Fiat 500 range, you may
recall that the Italian marque updated the vehicle for the 2018 model year. In
doing so, a new range of personalization options were launched, as were some
interior changes. In an industry where consumers are consistently demanding to
have the latest and greatest vehicle, it appears as though Fiat is looking to
provide the answer with its second 500X update in 12 months.
