Former professional skier and current YouTube
sensation, Jon Olsson, used to be the proud owner of the world’s craziest Audi
RS6. Olsson had his RS6 outfitted with a bespoke bodykit inspired by DTM race
cars, and oversaw its engine upgraded to beyond 1,000 hp. Unfortunately, the
car’s life was cut short after Olsson sold it, when it was subsequently
destroyed by fire after it was stolen from its new owner.
Eager to continue the legacy left behind by the RS6
DTM, Olsson has just unveiled his new RS6, dubbed Project Phoenix, courtesy of
ABT Sportsline.
The first thing that’ll catch your attention is the
wrap. On one side, it features a black camouflage design while on the other, it
has a white camouflage design. Splitting the two designs is a red stripe
running down the center of the performance wagon. In writing, such a design may
seem odd, but on video, and in pictures, it looks very special.
Beyond the new wrap, Olsson’s RS6 sits on a set of
custom wheels and has been transformed with ABT’s RS6+ package.
Ordinarily, ABT’s upgrades lift power from the
4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 of the RS6 Performance from 605 hp up to 705 hp and 880
Nm of torque. However, we would not be surprised to learn that
Olsson’s car has even more grunt than that. What we can say for sure is that a
bespoke exhaust system has been fitted, potentially making this the loudest RS6
on the planet.
