If you’re looking for a truly unique-looking car to add to your collection, this BMW M6-based Fisker Latigo is just for you. The car you see right here is a true unicorn, as, apart from a prototype, it’s the only one ever built. Penned by Henrik Fisker, the Latigo was supposed to have a production run of 150 cars, but no other cars were produced by Fisker Coachbuild after car #001.

Based on the chassis and mechanical parts of a 2006 BMW E63 M6, the Latigo benefits from the naturally aspirated V10 engine that’s paired to the seven-speed SMG transmission. However, the 5.0-liter V10 was rebuilt and tuned by RD Sport in order to produce a claimed 665 hp.

The unique sports coupe features hand-built bodywork made out of lightweight aluminum and carbon fiber. A set of 20-inch, 10-spoke Fisker alloys rounds up the revisions on the outside. The interior is completely re-trimmed with custom leather and an Alcantara headliner and rear package shelf. Billet aluminum accents have replaced the factory plastic pieces in various spots. The seller notes that the rear window and shelf were replaced in 2014. There is also a special badge showing that this was supposed to be #001 out of 150 Latigos.

The car, which is auctioned by Bring A Trailer, has covered 23,000 miles in total, with the current owner responsible for the last 3,700 miles over his six-year ownership. According to the invoice from the original build, the initial price of the Fisker Latigo was US$ 216,846 but this doesn’t include the cost of the donor car.
