Subaru has dropped the first teaser image of a new
concept model named the VIZIV Tourer in advance of its world premiere at the
Geneva Motor Show.
The fifth project of the Japanese firm’s VIZIV
series, which derives its name from the phrase “Vision for Innovation”, will
explore a station wagon design. Subaru won’t tell us anything else about the
study yet, but if we had to guess, we would say it could preview the brand’s
intention for a Levorg replacement or perhaps a different compact estate.
Subaru kicked off the VIZIV series of concepts at
Geneva in 2013, with crossover, hybrid, performance and seven-seat studies (the
latter transformed into the production Ascent SUV) as well as a digital GT
Vision model for Sony’s Gran Turismo 6 racing game.
With the clock ticking down for the 88th Geneva
International Motor Show that starts on March 6 for the press, it won’t be long
before Subaru sheds some light upon the study, with more revealing images and
information, so stay tuned.
