The 2019 Ridgeline is already available at Honda’s
U.S. dealers since March 6, with an MSRP of US$ 29,990 (plus destination charge)
for the entry-level 2WD RT version.
Honda is calling the 2019 Ridgeline the “ultimate
tailgate vehicle”, ideal for sporting events, picnics and other types of
outdoor gatherings. With that in mind, one of its best features is the Dual
Action Tailgate which offers easy access to the lockable, weather-sealed In-Bed
Trunk, in-bed 115V AC power outlet and the world’s first Truck Bed Audio
System.
Inside, there is a wide array of standard and
optional features. Paying extra will land you goodies such as the 8-inch
Display Audio touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 3-zone automatic
climate control, 8-way powered driver’s seat with adjustable lumbar support and
ambient interior lighting.
For 2019, RT, Sport and RTL specs now include a
second USB port (like the range-topping versions), while the RTL and RTL-T come
with a power sliding rear window and a moonroof. A wide range of Honda Genuine
Accessories designed specifically for the Ridgeline is also available.
Underneath the hood of Honda’s pickup truck is a
3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission that puts out 280
horsepower and 355 Nm of torque. Customers that opt for AWD models
will experience Honda’s Intelligent Variable Torque Management (i-VTM4)
technology that’s supposed to improve all-weather performance and handling.
