The 2019 Kia Sorento can now be ordered across the United States. It carries an MSRP of US$ 25,990 for the entry-level L grade, which gets a standard three-row layout and a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Powering it is a 2.4-liter in-line four GDI engine, rated at 185 Hp, which works together with a revised 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Described as being “more robustly equipped”, the LX trim starts from US$ 27,490 with FWD and US$ 29,290 with AWD. This flavor can also be had with a 3.3-liter V6 GDI engine, which makes 290 Hp, and is married to a new 8-speed automatic transmission – priced from US$ 31,290 and US$ 33,090 with FWD and AWD, respectively.

Building upon the LX V6 and adding extra equipment, such as the projection fog lamps, Lane Keeping Assist and Driver Attention Warning, the Sorento EX costs at least US$ 35,590. This is for the front-wheel drive model, whereas adding the all-wheel drive system would set you back for at least US$ 37,390. As optional extras, this trim level gets Parking Distance Warning, a Harman Kardon sound system and AVN 5.0 navigation with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.

The 2019 Kia Sorento SX benefits from all of the features of the EX, to which it adds a standard wireless phone charger, AVN 5.0 navigation, a premium sound system and two-way powered lumbar support for the front passenger seat. It starts at US$ 39,990 FWD and US$ 41,790 AWD, and it also comes with LED headlights with High Beam Assist and Low Beam Assist.

Finally, the fully loaded SXL adds LED headlights and LED fog lamps, and can be had from US$ 44,690 with FWD and US$ 46,490 with AWD.
