Building on the design of its previously launched electric scooter, hardware
manufacturer Archos has today unveiled the first Google Android electric
scooter in the form of the Archos Citee Connect range designed and assembled in
France.
The Archos Citee Connect electric scooter range uses the power of
Google’s Android operating system to provide a wealth of features including
navigation and will be available to version is the Archos Citee and Archos
Citee Power which will be available during April 2018 priced at € 400 and during
the summer 2018 priced at € 500 respectively.
Equipped with a 5 inch high definition screen on the
handlebars running a multimedia dashboard application the electric scooter
provides riders with all the functions of an Android smartphone, powered by a
quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of flash memory and comes preloaded
with Google’s Android 8 “Oreo” mobile operating system. The on-board computer
is capable of showing speed, distance travelled, remaining battery level and is
connected to 3G enabling riders to use numerous applications for navigation and
exploration.
The Archos Citee Connect is equipped with 8.5 inches
wheels with puncture-proof and dimpled tyres for better suspension and is
powered by a 250W motor and its 36V battery provides riders with a range over
25 km in urban areas. While the Citee Power offers a faster speed and a slightly
smaller range enabling riders to reach 25 km/h for a range of 18 to 22 kms.
