Lamborghini’s more recent blueprints aren’t as insane as some of its older vehicles, but the Lamborghini Terzo Millennio brings crazy back. Last November, Lamborghini unveiled the Terzo Millennio Concept, an electric hypercar that was the brainchild of a collaboration between the iconic automaker and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Now, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the concept in the flesh, but our photographer got to spend some one-on-one time with the vehicle at the Geneva Motor Show and the pictures are just too good not to share.

The Terzo Millennio – Italian for “Third Millennium” – is the brand’s way of looking into the future, and boy does the concept look like it belongs in a sci-fi movie. It’s got the wedge shape that we’ve come to love and the rampaging bull on the front, but other than that, the concept is more in line with a spaceship than a car.

The front end is particularly impressive with a snake-like front fascia, Y-shaped headlights, a front splitter that could double as a snowplow, and a windshield that looks like it’s from a plane. The wheels are also impressive.

Electric vehicles are starting to take over, and if you look at what automakers are doing, the electric future is going to have funny-looking cars that can operate on their own. It may just be a concept, but it’s nice to know that Lamborghini’s still thinking about enthusiasts.
