Tata Motors launched a special edition model called
Tata Zest Premio last week to commemorate the sedan reaching the 85,000 sales
milestone.
Tata Zest Premio has 13 new features
over the regular Tata Zest. On the outside, it gets features like smoked
headlamps, piano black hood strip, glossy black roof, piano black ORVMs, silver
wheel covers, orange-coloured Premio special edition badge and a piano black
boot lid garnish. A piano black rear spoiler is optional. The special edition
model is available in the Titanium Grey and Platinum Silver (pictured) colours.
The dashboard of the Zest Premio gets a tan finish
and new premium seat fabric with contrast stitching and Premio branding to
match the tan mid pad. Under the hood, it has the 1.3-litre Quadrajet
turbodiesel engine that develops 75 PS and 190 Nm of torque. This engine is
coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission.
The Tata Zest Premio is now on sale across the
country. Tata has priced the special edition model at INR 7.53 lakhs
(ex-showroom Delhi). The company is not offering the special edition with a
petrol engine or AMT option.
