The IsoRivolta Vision Gran
Turismo concept now finds itself on display at the Quattroruote stand at the
2018 Geneva Motor Show. Even though it’s not in production, the IsoRivolta
supposedly weighs just 1,129 kg, which coupled with its 997 HP
Corvette Callaway twin-turbo 6.2-liter V8, would lead to a zero to 100 km/h acceleration time of just 2.7 seconds, and a max speed of 365 km/h.
Visually, in case you find it somewhat odd-looking,
that’s because this concept is meant to “contradict the sense of oneness that
has evoloved over the past hundred years of automotive design,” stated Zagato
VP of design, Norihiko Harada.
From certain angles, it almost looks as though the
fenders and the canopy were added separately to the rest of the body, although
in the end, there’s no denying the fact that it looks aggressive, which in turn
helps it blend in with other supercars, real or not.
During its presentation in Tokyo, we also learned
that Zagato was considering putting together a limited production run of about
three to five units, and that they’ve even opened up a shortlist for interested
buyers.
If the IsoRivolta does morph into a real-life
automobile, it would probably challenge the McLaren Senna for quirkiest-looking
supercar.
