IAB reader, Tanmay Gupta has shared images of the 2018 Bajaj Pulsar 150 UG5 version spotted at a dealership in Lucknow along with a walkaround video. The motorcycle has been priced at INR 78,400, ex-showroom, Lucknow.

The 2018 Bajaj Pulsar 150 UG5 has a design language that is similar to the current generation Pulsar 180. The bike comes with split seats, with split grab handles. The instrumentation is an analogue-digital combo unit, with a cleaner white dial. At the rear, Bajaj has included a 230 mm disc, and the front end gets a larger, 260 mm disc borrowed from the 180.

Coming to the suspension bits, the front end features thicker fork and the rear continues with the twin Nitrox shock absorbers. The design of the Blue, Red and Black paint scheme is akin to the one seen on the Pulsar Black Pack Edition. The engine misses out on the kick lever. The current-gen 149cc DTS-I engine generates 14 PS at 8,000 rpm and 13.4 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. Transmission is a 5-speed unit. The power and torque outputs may go up marginally.

The 2018 Bajaj Pulsar 150 rivals the Honda X-Blade, TVS Apache RTR 160, and Suzuki Gixxer. Expect the official launch to happen in a few days. In comparison with the ex-showroom, Lucknow price of the outgoing Pulsar 150, the UG5 is INR 4,390 more expensive.
