The 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe Custom has now received the Midnight
Edition treatment. The new spec builds upon the LS grade, has a US$ 45,995
starting price, including the US$ 1,295 destination fee, and will arrive at
dealers across the nation this spring.
Off-road-inspired styling cues, blacked-out grille,
assist steps, black bowtie emblems and 18-inch alloy wheels with a dark look,
shod in Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, set it apart from the regular
versions of the SUV.
As for the equipment present on the 2018 Chevrolet
Tahoe Custom Midnight Edition, there’s the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment
system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and 4G LTE with Wi-Fi hotspot. It also
gets up to 5 USB ports and 5 power outlets, including a 110V one, reversing
camera, remote start and Teen Driver mode.
The Enhanced Driver Alert Package is available as
well, with its Forward Collision Alert, Safety Alert Seat, IntelliBeam
headlights with automatic high-beam control, Lane Keep Assist with Lane
Departure Warning and Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking.
Customers can choose between the two- and four-wheel
drive versions of the SUV, and will have to settle for the 355 hp and 518 Nm of torque 5.3-liter V8 engine. It has a towing capacity of up
to 6,600lbs (2,993 kg) and returns an EPA-estimated 23 mpg (10.2 l/100 km / 27.6
UK mpg) on the highway.
