Fresh images of the 2018 Mahindra XUV500 interior have surfaced on Team-BHP. The forum has already shared images revealing the exterior and interior of the Mahindra XUV500 facelift ahead of its launch that is expected to take place sometime this month.

The new interior images shed light on the last two rows. As reported, the seats are draped in tan leather with partial diamond stitching. As such, there are no changes to the seating configuration in comparison to the outgoing model. The Mahindra XUV500 will continue without a sliding second row, which means leg space for third-row occupants cannot be altered. All three second-row occupants and both third-row occupants get height adjustable headrests.

The interior of the 2018 Mahindra XUV500 gets tan leather/leatherette upholstery, leather dashboard trim, and gloss black finish for the centre console. Other changes include silver trim on the gear knob, centre armrest, handbrake lever, and steering wheel. Updates to the exterior will include new six-slot radiator grille, and a horizontal LED DRL strip now sits along with the top edge of the headlamps, triangular tail lamps, redesigned tailgate with a wider license plate recess, new tailgate garnish, and a new roof spoiler with an integrated stop lamp.

The Mahindra XUV500’s 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine will witness a jump up in its power output to 150 hp. The 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options and AWD system will be carried over, in all probability.
