The Aston Martin Vanquish S Volante is a rear-wheel
drive, open-top GT with 600 PS, but still, Wheelsandmore believes that it would be
better with some minor work, which starts with an additional 40 PS and 90 Nm of torque squeezed from the 6.0-liter V12 engine.
Since this is the old naturally aspirated unit and
not the newer twin-turbo 5.2-liter that powers the DB11, remapping the ECU
wouldn’t have been enough to get the small power boost. Thus, the tuner went on
to develop catalyst replacement tubes and flap exhaust, naming it the
CRP-Power-Kit and asking € 6,470 (US$ 7,918) for it in Germany (excluding assembly.
The wheels part is covered by the 6Sporz² rims,
measuring 9.5×21-inch at the front and 12×21-inch at the rear. These are shod
in 265/30 and 325/25 Michelin tires and cost € 9,235 (US$ 11,302) for the complete
wheel-combo set.
Wheelsandmore’s final upgrade for the Vanquish
Volante is a set of lowering springs. They lower the center of gravity by
30-35 mm and will set back owners of the gentleman’s sports car by
another € 1,007 (US$ 1,232), without taxes and shipping.
