The Audi RS5 Sportback has unveiling and presence at the New York Auto Show made performance vehicle enthusiasts very excited.

Set to be sold in the U.S., as well as all the other obvious markets, the RS5 Sportback is a slightly larger, more practical, and dare we say it, even more attractive version of the RS5 Coupe.

Like its two-door sibling, power is sourced from a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 cranking out 444 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. Paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system, Audi says the RS5 Sportback will hit 96 km/h in under four seconds but not quite match the 3.7 second time of the RS5 Coupe.

Top speed sits at a limited 250 km/h but with the optional Dynamic Plus package, this rises to 280 km/h.
