Owners
looking to increase their 488 GTB performance might want to take a look at
Pogea Racing’s offering.
The tuning company has selected the ongoing Top
Marques Monaco show as the event to reveal its overhauled 488 GTB, complete
with enough grunt to leave the extreme 488 Pista in the dust.
Whereas Ferrari upped power in the Pista to 720 HP
and 568 lb-ft of torque, Pogea Racing’s FPlus Corsa project bumps power up to a
thrilling 820 hp and 664 lb-ft of twisting force. A new exhaust system complete
with stainless steel flaps has also been fitted.
All told, the tuned supercar accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and will keep accelerating up to 345 km/h.
The new aerodynamic parts fitted to
the 488 are far less advanced than those found on the Pista. Nevertheless, the
carbon fiber add-ons, including a large rear wing, rear diffuser, side skirts
and carbon front splitter do give the 488 an even more in-your-face look. These
parts, as well as custom 21-inch wheels, have stripped away 42 kg)from the stock supercar’s weight.
Pogea Racing intends on applying its FPlus Corsa
package to just 20 488 GTBs, with pricing starting at € 35,000 (US$ 43,100).
