Ford unveiled the Figo-based crossover in January
2018. The Ford Freestyle is set to go on sale this month. Ahead of its launch,
the company has released the product brochure which details accessories buyers
can opt for at the dealership level.
Buyers looking for cosmetic enhancements get to
choose from options like a body stripe and roof wrap. The brochure depicts a
Canyon Ridge example with a white stripe and a White Gold Freestyle with a
black roof wrap. Also on offer are a rear spoiler and 15-inch alloy wheels,
presumably for trims that do not get these features. The Ford Freestyle
accessories list also includes weather shield, engine under shield, anti theft
nuts, roof cross bars, shark fin antenna, and a car cover.
For the cabin, buyers can opt for sun blinds, neck
rest and pillow, ambient lighting, and ashtray. There are two seat covers to
choose from as well for all variant except Titanium(O) as it gets side airbags.
Automatic headlamps and rearview camera, standard on the Titanium(O) grade, are
also offered.
The Ford Freestyle will be offered in four grades.
There will be two engine options – 1.2 L 3-cylinder petrol and 1.5 L 4-cylinder
TDCi diesel. Both engines are paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. As per
Ford, the CUV returns 19 km/l (petrol) and 24.4 km/l (diesel).
