Honda has introduced a new Pearl Glare White colour
variant for its quarter-litre, the Honda CBR 250RR for the Japanese market. The
colour variant is only for the ABS model, and will be available from April 20,
2018.
The new colour model adds to the already existing
Matte Gun Powder Black Metallic, Sword Silver Metallic and Victory Red. The
white colour version, along with Black and Silver cost JPY 806,760. The
Victory Red colour costs JPY 828,360.
Honda introduced the bike in Japan in April 2017. The
bike gets an all-LED lighting system, ride-by-wire throttle, and an in-line
twin engine. The 249 cc DOHC engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection
makes 38 PS at 12,500 rpm; and 23 Nm of peak torque at 11,000 rpm. The engine
works in conjunction with a 6-speed gearbox.
The diamond type frame suspends on upside down front
fork and ProLink monoshock at the rear with 5-stage preload adjustability. The
17-inch alloy wheels are shod with 110-section front and 140-section rear
tyres. The bike comes to a halt using petal disc on both ends, with
dual-channel ABS.
