Indian Motorcycles have teamed up with legendary
whisky brand Jack Daniel’s to create a limited edition run of Scout Bobbers.
Somewhat strangely, the bikes aren’t inspired by the
company’s famous black and white logo, but instead their gold and black paint
is a nod towards the fire trucks used by the Jack Daniel’s Fire Brigade.
Only 177 of the limited-edition bikes will be built,
a nod to the ‘Old No. 7 Brand,’ and they have been designed by Klock Werks
Kustom Cycles. The bikes come with two-tone matte black paint and 24-karat gold
graphics on the mudguards (or fenders if you are American) and tank with a
‘bottles and throttles don’t mix’ emblem on the front mudguard. In
addition, the bikes gain a leather seat with JD embroidery and custom grips,
pegs and shift levers. Finally, there is a gold-coloured Indian badge and an
individually-numbered 24-karat gold
Montana Silversmith badge. And if you fancy owning one you had better be fast.
Only three of the JD bikes will be arriving in the
UK with each one costing £ 14,449 from Indian UK, which isn’t bad considering
they are so exclusive and a stock Scout Bobber costs from £ 11,299. Delivery is expected to begin in July 2018.
