Those in attendance at this year’s CV Show in the UK
can feast their eyes upon Isuzu’s new D-Max Yukon Luxe Extended Cab, which
boasts both exterior as well as interior upgrades.
The D-Max Yukon also comes with a wide range of
standard features and accessories such as 18-inch Dark Shadow alloys, LED DRLs,
LED rear lights, front and rear fog lights, body colored front bumper, silver
side steps, chrome door handles, heated rear screen, leather steering wheel and
a 7-inch color touchscreen.
Isuzu says the Pro-Lift tailgate assist
system makes the tailgate feel 95% lighter, enabling you to lift it using just
one finger, while it also stops it from slamming down.
Inside, the Yukon Luxe comes with a new red and black
leather trim upgrade, said to create a sophisticated feel for the occupants.
Add everything together and compared to the standard Yukon Extended Cab, you’d
spend £ 1,000 more on the Luxe – the total price is £ 22,509 OTR (exc VAT).
The pickup truck also features a host of safety
systems, with a reversing camera, Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist,
front, side and curtain airbags, EBD, BAS, ESC and ABS being standard.
Power comes from a 4-cylinder 1.9-liter diesel
engine, good for 164 PS and 360 Nm of torque. Zero to 100
km/h takes 12.7 seconds, while top speed is 180 km/h.
