President Donald Trump has been in the oval office
for more than a year but continues to use the same presidential limousine fleet
that Barack Obama had from the moment of his Inauguration Day in 2009.
However, Fox News has been told that the U.S. Secret
Service has taken delivery of Trump’s new limousine and that it will be
revealed in the near future. A spokeswoman from the U.S. Secret Service said
that production of the vehicle is indeed complete.
President Trump’s limousine has been spied testing
on numerous occasions throughout the past 12 months. The vehicle will be one of
roughly a dozen vehicles built by General Motors under a US$ 15.8 million contract
it has with the Secret Service.
Details about the vehicle remain a
closely guarded secret. What we know is that the exterior of the presidential
limousine will somewhat resemble the Cadillac CT6 and that it will be designed
to withstand ballistic, explosive, and chemical weapons attacks.
