JLR has launched the Range Rover Evoque Convertible in India. The drop-top version of the Evoque is priced at INR 69.53 lakhs (ex-showroom India) and is available only in the fully loaded HSE Dynamic trim.

Based on the three-door Range Rover Evoque Coupe, the Convertible features a fabric Z-folding Convertible Roof System. The car is 4,370 mm long, 1,900 mm wide, and 1,609 mm tall. It rides on a 2,660 mm long wheelbase. According to official data, the Convertible is 10 mm longer than the 5-door version.


Under the hood resides a 2.0 L Si4 4-cylinder Ingenium Petrol with a maximum power output of 177 kW and a peak torque of 340 Nm. A 9-speed automatic gearbox handles transmission duties. Customers can choose from three 18-inch alloy wheel designs. It gets AWD and Terrain Response as well.

Key features of the Range Rover Evoque Convertible include rain sensing wipers, adaptive LED headlights, LED tail lights, leather upholstery, 12-way electrically adjustable front seats, and heated and cooled front seats. The InControl Touch Pro infotainment system can be operated via a 10-inch screen. Land Rover offers the car with a 13-speaker 660 W Meridian Surround Sound System.


Compared to the 5-door Range Rover Evoque Diesel HSE Dynamic, the Convertible commands a premium of a little over INR 10 lakhs. The Range Rover Evoque range in India starts INR 50.20 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
