Renault wants to appeal to younger customers with a new limited edition variant of the Captur. Called Renault Captur S-Edition, it’s already available in France, priced from € 23,300 (US$ 28,941), with a 120 PS petrol engine, mated to a manual or an EDC automatic transmission.

Buyers can also choose the 110 PS dCi diesel version with a stick shift, from € 26,100 (US$ 32,418), and the 150 PS petrol. The latter is the most powerful model, comes with a € 24,600 (US$ 30,555) starting price and gets the same gearbox options as the entry-level.


The Renault Captur S-Edition is available in the exclusive Iron Blue paint, with an Etoile Black or Platine Grey roof, in addition to seven other two-tone finishes. These are joined by the ‘S-Edition’ badging, Gun Metal Grey door protection inserts and skid plates, and 17-inch black Filante diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Alcantara/simile leather upholstery with blue top-stitching can be found inside, along with the R-Line Evolution infotainment system with a 7-inch display, Android Auto, Bluetooth and TomTom navigation. Gloss black air vent surrounds, special floor mats, reversing camera and parking sensors all around are offered at no extra cost.


The options list includes the fixed glass sunroof, Bose premium sound system, heated front seats, Volubilis Blue interior accents, Iron Blue exterior parts and space saver spare wheel.
