Suzuki Motorcycle India is planning to launch the Suzuki Burgman Street by the end of next month or by early June, reports CarandBike. The company unveiled the Suzuki Burgman Street at the 2018 Auto Expo in February. When launched, it would be the only maxi-scooter in India. Earlier, the Kinetic Blaze was the only maxi-scooter available in the country.

The Burgman Street rivals new entrants like the Honda Grazia, TVS Ntorq 125 and Aprilia SR 125. True to the Burgman lineage, the Street has a bulbous design with LED headlamps, body-mount windscreen, flexible outstretched foot position, and a front disc with combination braking system. The scooter features all-digital instrumentation.

The Suzuki Burgman Street uses a 124.3 cc single cylinder SOHC engine with air cooling. The carburetted engine pairs with a CVT. The Japanese manufacturer is yet to reveal outputs. The front comes with a telescopic fork, and the rear employs a hydraulic-type shock absorber. Brakes include disc at the front and drum at the rear.

The 12-inch front and the 10-inch rear alloy wheels are shod with 90/90 and 90/100 tubeless tyres respectively. Expect the scooter to feature CBS as standard to comply with the CBS norms (for two-wheelers below 125 cc).
