TVS Motor Company has launched the TVS Sport Silver
Alloy Edition commemorating the commuter motorcycle’s 20 lakh sales milestone
since its launch.
The Silver Alloy Edition will be available across
two colour schemes, namely, Black Silver and Volcano Red. The Silver Alloy
Edition costs INR 38,961 (Ex-showroom, Madhya Pradesh); and will be available
across all dealerships in India. The colour scheme is similar to the regular
variant, but as the name suggests, the alloy wheels have a silver finish. The
regular variant is available in 8 colour options – Volcano Red; Black Silver;
Indigo Streak; Team Blue; Mercury Grey; Blaze Red; Dazzling White and Electric
Green.
The TVS Sport Silver Alloy Edition continues to use
the 100 cc Dura-Life engine. Mating with a 4-speed transmission, the powerplant
is good for 7.4 PS of power and 7.5 Nm of torque. The motorcycle comes with TVS
patented Econometer, with an Eco Mode and Power Mode. The claimed mileage
stands at 95 km/l. The cycle parts are also the same as the regular variant.
The motorcycle rides on a telescopic front fork, and twin 5-stage adjustable
rear shock absorbers. The motorcycle rivals Bajaj CT100 and Hero HF Dawn in its
segment.
