MSIL has launched the Maruti Vitara Brezza AMT at a
starting price of INR 8.54 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Along with the addition
of AMT gearbox, the 2018 Maruti Vitara Brezza gets an upgraded safety package
and minor cosmetic changes.
The Maruti Vitara Brezza AGS variant features a
5-speed AMT mated to the 1.3 L DDiS 200 diesel engine. At 66 kW and 200 Nm,
power and torque figures are identical to the manual transmission variant.
Maruti is offering the Vitara Brezza AMT in VDi, ZDi, ZDi+, and ZDi+ Dual Tone
grades.
Also,
updates include the addition of a new Autumn Orange. It is also available as a
dual tone option with a Pearl Arctic White roof. The Cerulian Blue and Cerulian
Blue with Pearl Arctic White options have been removed from the palette. The
top-end grades get glossy black alloy wheels instead of grey ones. Chrome front
grille and bootlid chrome garnish, which were earlier present only on the ZDi
and ZDi+ grades are now standard across the range.
Safety features like ISOFIX child seat restraint
system, high-speed warning alert, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and reverse
parking sensors are standard across all grades. The LDi(O) and VDi(O) grades,
which added a front passenger side airbag and ABS to LDi and VDi grades have
been discontinued as these features are now standard across the range.
