After a very impressive run in the world of rally,
Audi pivoted its focus to paved circuits, bringing its go-faster know-how to
IMSA GT sports car racing.
Offering boxy styling, impossibly wide fenders, and
nearly endless Quattro AWD grip, the Audi 90 went on to dominate the 1989
season, and now we can see what it might look like infused with styling cues
from the modern R8, complete with that classic Quattro livery to boot.
