The restyled minivan Hyundai Grand Starex made its
debut in Korea in December last year: the model had different bumpers and
grille, other lights and tail lights, and the interior was completely redrawn.
Now in the home market started selling a new modification, designed for travel.
Kemper got a rising roof, in the cabin there is a
reclining table, a small refrigerator, an electric stove, a sink and a
projector. The seats fold to form a double bed. Two more people can spend the
night in a tent at the top. Folding chairs are hidden in the luggage
compartment door. Plus, the new version of the Grand Starex has a 50-liter tank
for water and an external shower, a socket for charging the battery, and a
solar battery.
Like the standard model, the novelty is equipped
with a 176-hp diesel engine 2.5 with variable geometry of the turbine
(VGT). The motor is combined with a five-speed automatic, the drive is rear or
full. For the usual Grand Starex in Korea, there are also diesel 2.5 CRDi with
a power of 140 hp. and 6MKP, as well as a gas-powered 159-hp 2.4 LPi
engine.
The price of a camper starts at a mark of 51,000,000
won.
