A month after its online presentation, the MS-RT
Ford Transit Custom is now ready for its future owners in the United Kingdom.
The MS-RT-tuned vehicle is available in two body styles: panel van and double
cab, with 3-, 5- and 6-seat configurations, short and long wheelbase, tailgate
or twin back doors. Pricing starts at £ 32,995 (US$ 45,399).
All versions of the van use the same 2.0-liter TDCi
diesel engine. The unit develops 170 PS and 405 Nm of
torque and is married to either a manual or an automatic gearbox, both of them
with six speeds.
Exterior modifications include the wide body arch
extensions, different bumpers, new grille, side sills, rear diffuser and
spoiler. The MS-RT Ford Transit Custom features special decals as well, 18-inch
Anthracite OZ Racing alloy wheels wrapped in Hankook Ventus S1 evo2 tires,
Eibach performance lowering springs and twin sports exhaust system.
The sporty
theme continues inside, with the Nappa leather and suede seat facings,
different steering wheel with carbon fiber inlays, special gauges and MS-RT
branded floor mats.
Additionally, the tuned van benefits from the
automaker’s SYNC3 infotainment system with satellite navigation, reversing
camera and more. Parking sensors are standard, too, alongside the heated
windscreen, heated seats, 230V power convertor, and HID headlights with
integrated DRLs.
All versions of the this Ford Transit Custom are
hand-finished at the MS-RT’s factory in Gwent, South Wales.
