We’ve talked about the cool cars that Scuderia
Cameron Glickenhaus has been working on in the past. The SCG004 has been tipped
to come with about 700 hp. That sounds like an impressive machine, but SCG is
teasing something even cooler.
The SCG004CS is tipped to use a Nissan VR38DETT 3.8L
twin-turbo V6 engine tuned to about 900 hp. It will be the hottest of the
roadgoing SCG cars and will land for the 2020-year model. The SCG004S will cost
about US$ 400,000 and will have a manual transmission with an optional paddle
shift gearbox and other tidbits.
There is no word on the starting price for the
hotter SCG004CS but expect it to cost a lot more. We do know that the car will
have an S style interior along with the racing style exterior from the 004C
model. It will get a road spec splitter and diffuser along with center-lock
wheels. The move to a Nissan TT V6 from the V8 in other SCG cars is for smaller
package according to reports.
