YouTube user Vinay Kapoor has shared a walkaround of
his creation – Tata Nexon Delhi Daredevils IPL Edition. He is also responsible
for the creation of the Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad editions we published
recently.
Red, which is the dominant colour of Delhi
Daredevils’ logo, has been used on the roof and ORVMs along with matching
highlights on the grille, alloy wheels, fog lamp enclosures, and front and rear
bumpers. The ceramic white highlights running along the window line have been
redone in black. Decals of a flaming cricket ball mimicking the older Delhi
Daredevils logo sit on the sides.
The custom job is based on the top-of-the-line XZ+
grade. The Delhi Daredevils themed Tata Nexon isn’t an official special edition
created for Tata or the IPL team. It is a one-off creation that interested
buyers can avail at the dealership level.
Prices of the Tata Nexon start INR 6.16 lakhs and
INR 7.19 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) onwards for the petrol and diesel variants
respectively. The compact SUV is available with a 6-speed AMT, apart from a
6-speed manual transmission, paired with both the 1.2 L Revotron Petrol and 1.5
L Revotroq diesel engine options. The Nexon XZA+ petrol and diesel is priced at
INR 9.41 lakhs and INR 10.3 lakhs (ex-showroom) respectively.
