Based out of a rural workshop in Belgium, Krugger
Motorcycles is known for massive build-outs encompassing just about every nut
and bolt on a bone-stock sled. It’s how owner Fred “Krugger” Bertrand has
managed to pull off a handful of awards over the years. So, it came as no
surprise when good old Triumph reached out and sent him a Bonneville donor bike
to be completed in time for the 2018 motorcycle show season.
To start things off, Triumph requested the 1200 engine
be left untouched, so Krugger opted to focus on the details and custom
finishing for this project. What resulted was a low-slung stance thanks to
shortened fork tubes, a lowered fuel tank, and lengthening the wheelbase by
75mm. He also incorporated a custom INOX exhaust system, a set of 18-inch Arlen
Ness alloy wheels, Dunlop Sportmax tires, all-new fenders, and fastened the
ride with a handful of Triumph accessories to close out the new hardtail in
style for full brand display. Ride on.
