Usually, when we come across a great restomod
classic SUV, it’s pretty easy to gather whether it was built for style or
substance. This 1970 Ford Bronco from the master customizers at Classic Ford
Broncos is an oddity, however, because it’s got both in spades.
Called ‘The Salt Flats,’ this seafoam green gem is
powered by an abundantly capable Coyote 5.0-liter crate engine capable of over
412 horsepower and 390 ft-lbs of torque – meaning it could just as easily
cruise the beach as it could tackle the trails.
And if that’s not enough to
convince you, it also has a front-mounted winch to pull you or your friends out
of sticky situations, a 4.5″ lift, and a removable soft top. The interior is
nothing to scoff at, either, with custom saddle tan leather seats and a 5.1
stereo system. Best of all, it’s for sale to the tune of US$ 200,000.
