The 2018 Hyundai
Creta will be
launched in South Africa, as per a report from CarMag.co.za. The Hyundai Creta has received minor cosmetic
changes, new comfort and convenience features and some performance improvements
with its mid-cycle refresh. Key design changes include tweaked headlamps,
Cascade design radiator grille, LED DRLs new dual-tone bumpers, new skid plates
and tweaked tail lamps.
Passive keyless entry was already available in the
Hyundai Creta, but Hyundai allows its owners to flaunt the feature in a new way
now. A Smart Key Band, featuring an integrated fitness tracker, comes with the
SUV. All an owner has to do now is wear it like a regular fitness band.
Other newly introduced features
include an electric sunroof, 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat,
wireless smartphone charger, sliding front armrest and Auto Link smartphone app
support for the infotainment system.
The Hyundai Creta’s engine/transmission combinations
have remained the same post facelift. Hyundai has improved the 1.6-litre diesel
engine to deliver maximum torque from lower engine speeds and across a wider
band.
There’s no word on the expected pricing of the 2018
Hyundai Creta for South Africa. The outgoing model is priced from R 329,900.
