Earlier this year General Motors unveiled the
updated Cadillac CT6 sedan. This is the
China-spec variant, made locally at Shanghai-GM. It will be launched on the
Chinese car market in November.
The Chinese CT6 gets the same design updates as the
North American car; a restyled and more aggressive front end, a new rear, a
largely new interior, and various mechanical improvements.
Engines are 234 hp 2.0 turbo and a 272 hp 2.0 turbo.
The 405 hp 3.0 twin-turbo is missing from the spec-list. Unconfirmed reports
say that this model will be replaced by a new 2.0 turb0 PHEV with about 380 hp.
Size: 5223/1879/1492 mm, wheelbase is 3109 mm. Price will range from 400.000 to
600.000 yuan.
Spoiler in the spoiler in the boot lid, and the pipe
tips are a bit more shiny. Sadly however, this sport package is for the optics
only; it won’t get a single horse more.
