Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has revealed the 2019 Jeep
Renegade. The facelift made its debut at the Torino Motor Show. Here are images
detailing the exterior and interior of the Renegade facelift from the show
courtesy HD Motori.
Up front, the grille section is broader around the
headlights and narrower in the middle. It houses new LED headlights with
circular LED DRLs. The front bumper is new with LED fog lamps placed lower than
before. The side profile is nearly identical with the only change coming in the
form of new 5-split spoke alloy wheels. Changes to the rear are hard to spot.
There's a tweaked tail lamp design, with a Jeep's 'headlamp+grille' signature
in the centre. The tailgate now features a handle to open the boot.
The cabin of the 2019 Jeep Renegade does not get any
changes. It has been carried over as is from the MY2018 model as it was updated
recently. The images show a manual transmission variant without Jeep's
Selec-Terrain Traction management system.
The Jeep Renegade gains new
engines. These include a 120 hp 1.0 L unit, a 150 hp 1.3 L unit, and a 180 hp
1.3 L unit. FCA does not plan on offering the Jeep models with diesel engines
in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The pre-facelift model starts from GBP
18,255 in the UK. The range-topping Jeep Renegade Desert
Hawk Limited Edition is priced at GBP 29,640.
Expect the 2019 Jeep Renegade to hit markets towards
the end of this year.
