It’s been over four years now since Jeep rolled out the Renegade. So while it may not be time for complete replacement just yet, it was about due for a bit of a facelift. And that’s just what it has received. Unfortunately Fiat Chrysler has revealed precisely squat in terms of details.

What we can tell from those images is that the Renegade has had some minor nips and tucks here and there. Those are new headlights recessed next to Jeep’s signature seven-slot grille, and look closer to the units on the new Wrangler. The sheetmetal in the front fascia dips down lower around the airdam to encompass new vents and daytime running lights. And the lines look slightly more sharply creased.

The subtle changes appear to continue around back, where the taillights we saw in the teaser the other day look different to the existing model’s. The tailgate also incorporates a new handle. And though our eyes could be deceiving us, the spoiler trailing from the edge of the roof looks to have been reshaped as well.
