Last year Munich-based Diamond Atelier released a mean family of souped-up BMW cafe racers dubbed the Mark II series. Since then, they’ve produced and sold over 20 since they dished out the first build. So, just like any bike builder would do when there’s obvious demand, Diamond is now slated to release a second round of Mark II’s for the taking.

As a series of four, each beauty starts off as a 1980s model BMW boxer motor complete with a Monolever frame. From here, the good folk over in the Diamond workshop rebuild and refurbish both the engine and carbs – prepping it for their now iconic Mark II tail, tank, and subframe.

Additionally, each bike in the series comes outfitted to the teeth with upgrades. We’re talking an OEM suspension and wheels, custom 17” wheelset with Tokico calipers, Yamaha R1 axles, Wilbers shock, new exhaust system and carbon fiber bodywork – new to the series this go-around – among plenty others. Be sure to keep your eyes and ears peeled for more as the year progresses.
