The second-generation Aston Martin
Vanquish is one of the most stunning vehicles of the modern age. Despite this,
British coachbuilder Kahn Design decided to use the Vanquish as the inspiration
of its WB12 Vengeance, first shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016. This
latest example, only recently built, is perhaps the most head-turning of the
lot.
Taking inspiration from the Hulk, Kahn Design has
created a Vengeance that’s exceptionally bold and could only ever be driven by
the bravest of souls.
The Hulk inspiration is most
obvious through the bright green paint job adorning the exterior. To help
offset the paint and ensure it isn’t overbearing, Kahn has painted the car’s
roof black and the central part of the hood block. Additionally, the Vengeance
includes carbon fiber accents on the front and rear fascias and also sits on a
set of eye-catching black wheels. The tires measure 225 mm wide at the front
and a massive 335 mm at the rear.
Underpinning each and every Vengeance is the chassis
of the ever-popular DB9. To create something unique, Kahn Design crafts its own
aluminum body panels and while the finished look certainly isn’t to everyone’s
taste, it’s hard not to at least appreciate the work that goes into this
coachbuilt Aston.
While the exterior is all-new, the powertrain
remains untouched. Consequently, the marque’s 5.9-liter naturally-aspirated V12
features and offers up 510 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. Six-speed manual and
six-speed automated gearboxes are offered to customers.
