If you thought the Stinger was cool, then you probably never looked too far into Kia’s future. In fact, we’re willing to bet that at some point, further down the road, the Korean automaker will build something that looks like a race car/hypercar combo.

It’s almost inevitable, judging by how fast the industry is evolving. Automakers are leaving no stones unturned and don’t seem too afraid to take chances, which has led to some very crowded segments, but in the end, it’s great for consumers.

Therefore, something along the lines of this Symphony concept isn’t completely unrealistic, even for Kia – as long as we look far enough ahead and not in the immediate future.

For now, the Symphony is unlike anything we’ve ever seen from Kia – well, because it’s not actually from Kia. Designed by Rodrigo Diago de Rozas, it’s clearly meant to represent something that feels at home on the track. There is a little Mercedes Project One to it, if you stare at the profile long enough, but other than that, it looks very original, not to mention bonkers.

It clearly features a very aerodynamic design, allowing for air to flow directly through the wheel arches, both front and rear. Other noteworthy design traits include the gullwing doors and the ultra-massive rear diffuser.
