Mclaren Special Operations (MSO) just finished a
road-going homage to the iconic F1 GTR in the form of a bespoke 675LT, wearing
the famous Gulf-Davidoff racing livery. The project, which required permission
from Gulf Oil International Ltd, took more than 1,000 hours to complete, where
the paintwork alone (including airbrushing) accounted for 800 hours in total.
The result is this stunning bespoke livery.
This 675LT also comes
with 20-spoke Dayglo Orange wheels, a color that’s found on the sill badges as
well. Other features include the louvered front wings, roof scoop upgrade and
carbon fiber airbrake – all with body color paint.
Moving inside, it has Carbon Black Alcantara
MSO Bespoke racing seats with orange and blue contrast stitching, and orange
seat belts, borrowed from the MSO Defined range. Look close and you’ll also
spot Gulf Blue bezels on the Active Dynamics Panel, as well as Gulf Orange
stop/start button and vent bezel surrounds.
In a straight line, the twin-turbocharged McLaren
675LT is capable of putting down 675 PS and 700 Nm of
torque, leading to a zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration time of 2.9 seconds
and a top speed of 330 km/h.
