Due to its shape, the first-gen Porsche Panamera
doesn’t exactly lend itself to bodywork tuning. Still, the owner of this
Panamera wanted to stand out, so they fitted a Prior Design body kit. This
makes the whole car look more aggressive and is joined by a Fostla-applied chameleon-like vinyl wrapping,
something that used to be appreciated among enthusiasts back in the 1990s.
This Panamera has also been fitted with a sportier
exhaust and an air suspension, which brings the entire body closer to the
ground. It also sits on a pair of 9×22-inch front and 10.5×22-inch rear wheels.
Called Savini BM 14, the rims have a glossy black finish and are shod with
255/30 and 295/25 front and rear tires, respectively.
Care to guess how much these upgrades cost? Well,
that would be a rather hefty € 26,000 (US$ 30,085), or about the same as a new
Volkswagen Tiguan in Germany.
Sure, if you can afford to own and run a Panamera,
you might be able to fork out that sum. The thing is, while the Panamera was
indeed an excellent sports saloon marred by an ungainly design, this particular
wrap and body kit… well, let’s just say they don’t really improve the styling,
do they?
