Volkswagen’s family of I.D. electric vehicles continues to grow and based on recent trademarks, shows no signs of stopping. Knowing this, artist Antonio Paglia has imagined a new I.D. concept, dubbed the ID-Tech.

The concept takes the form of a low-slung Shooting Brake with seating for four people and an electric motor at each wheel.

Unlike the existing I.D. concepts from Volkswagen, the ID-Tech doesn’t feature any design similarities with other electric VW models and insteads adopts its own unique look, perhaps somewhat inspired by the Golf GTE Sport hybrid concept from a couple years ago. Nonetheless, it still looks the goods and the front fascia includes a pair of slim headlights, an attractive faux grille, and a set of bulging wheel arches.

Not restricted by regulations, Paglia has been able to design a steeply raked windscreen and slim side windows to create an especially sporty look and one more than fitting of working well alongside the existing fleet of I.D. vehicles from the marque.

As impressive as the exterior is, we think the interior is even more eye-catching. The dashboard consists of a large digital instrument cluster, a widescreen infotainment screen, and a third display to presumably control the air conditioning, heating, and other vehicle functions. Four carbon fiber bucket streets then provide occupants with a comfortable and supportive ride.
