Infiniti has unveiled the 2019 QX30, QX60 and Q70. Starting with the company’s
flagship sedan, the 2019 Q70 is currently available and pricing starts at US$ 50,300. While the price remains unchanged, the entry-level Q70 3.7 Luxe now
comes with additional standard equipment including a heated leather steering
wheel and heated / ventilated front seats. Other new additions include a
10-speaker Bose audio system, GPS navigation and an Around View Monitor with
moving object detection.
Since the Q70
Hybrid has been dropped for 2019, there are only two engine choices. Base
models have a 3.7-liter V6 that produces 330 hp and 365 Nm of torque. Customers can also order a 5.6-liter V8 with 420 hp and 564 Nm)of torque. Rear wheel drive continues to be
standard, while all-wheel drive is optional.
Moving on, the 2019
QX60 has a revised trim structure which now consists of four models called the
Pure, Pure AWD, Luxe and Luxe AWD. Besides the updated trims, the crossover now
comes standard with an assortment of driver assistance systems including Blind
Spot Warning, Predictive Forward Collision Warning and Forward Emergency
Braking with pedestrian detection.
Three new exterior
colors – Deep Bordeaux, Imperial Black and Mocha Almond – have been added to
the lineup and there are a couple of new packages as well. The Limited package
adds exclusive semi-aniline leather seats, dark silver wood trim, dark chrome
exterior accents and 20-inch wheels with a dark finish. Likewise, the ProASSIST
Package includes Lane Departure Prevention, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot
Intervention and High Beam Assist.
The 2019 QX60 is
now on sale and pricing starts at US$ 45,800. The model is powered exclusively by
a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 295 hp and 365
Nm of torque. It is connected to a continuously variable transmission which
can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system.
Lastly, the 2019
QX30 will go on sale this fall. Since the model was updated for the 2018.5
model year, the only change is a couple of new options for the QX30 Luxe. It
can now be equipped with the Navigation Package as well as 19-inch wheels with
summer tires.
Unsurprisingly, the
crossover’s turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine carries over and
continues to develop 208 hp. It is mated to a seven-speed
dual clutch transmission which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive
system.
